Pumped Storage: From India to Australia

Countries from India, through Southeast Asia to Australia, are taking advantage of cheap new variable renewables, especially solar power. They are also realising that this development needs to be complemented with the flexibility that PS brings. New policies are being brought forward and implemented, which in turn is encouraging a wave of developer interest. Case studies of new policies from countries across this region will be discussed and compared to discern what is successful in bringing new projects to fruition.
