Key event details
When is the International Forum on Pumped Storage Hydropower?The Forum will take place on Tuesday 9 September and Wednesday 10 September 2025.
Where will the Forum be held?
The Forum will be held at UNESCO House in Paris, France. The full address for the event is 125, Avenue de Suffren, 75007 Paris, France.
Who will be attending the Forum?
We are expecting up to 450-500 delegates at the event from around the world including high-level representatives from governments, international financial institutions, and over 70 organisations including industry, academia and civil society, including Andritz, EDF, EDP, GE Vernova, Greenko, Hydro Tasmania, Queensland Hydro, TotalEnergies, and Voith.
What is the dress code for the event?
The dress code for the Forum is business casual.
Can I attend Forum virtually?
No, this is an in-person event only.
Tickets
How can I register to attend the Forum?
Tickets for registration for the Forum will open in February. Please visit the pricing page to see ticket prices and available discounts.
What does the ticket include?
The ticket price includes entry to both days of the event including lunch and refreshments during the coffee breaks, access to all break out sessions the exhibition space and a place at the drinks reception on the evening of Tuesday 9 September 2025.
Do you provide support with visa applications?
We are unable to support you with your visa application but once you have paid for your ticket we can provide a letter of support which should help you with the visa application process.
You may request a letter of invitation from IHA to be submitted to the embassy when applying for a visa. The letter of invitation does not financially obliged IHA in any way.
Travel and accommodation
Is there a suggested hotel for the event?
Information on hotel accommodation will be available when the registration page is launched.
How do you get to the venue?
There is no parking at the venue, therefore we advise using public transport to travel to UNESCO. If you are travelling by Metro the nearest stations are: Ségur-UNESCO, Cambronne or Ecole militaire. If you plan on travelling by bus please take either the 28 or 80.
Registration
Is there any security protocol to be aware of?
Yes. The event is being held at UNESCO which has strict security to allow you access to the venue. Please bring photo identification and your email confirmation ticket with you so that you can be admitted into the building promptly.
On the day
What time does the event finish?
The event will finish at 18:00pm on Tuesday 9 September and will be followed by a drinks reception until 20:00pm. On the second day, Wednesday 10 September the event will close at 17:15pm.
