Pump it up! Powering a decarbonised world

Governments and international bodies are increasingly recognising the need for long duration storage as they look to develop domestic secure, cheap and variable renewable energy. This opening plenary session will feature senior political and international figures discussing how they are incorporating pumped storage into their planning and decision-making. There will be agenda-setting contributions including from the IHA President (and former Australian prime minister) Malcolm Turnbull, as well as other leading industry figures.
